Offline mode
WiFi drops? Door app falls back to local-cached guest list + signs scans cryptographically. Syncs on reconnect; duplicates surface then.
Wristband + QR dual
For pubs + festivals: scan once at entry, wristband for re-entry + tab. Avoids the “can I get back in?” queue.
Age verification
ID scan + DoB capture for licensed events. PII handled per GDPR — verified-and-discarded by default.
