What this replaces

Clipboard, paper sheet, Excel, manager’s Sunday night.

01

2 hours to count the bar

One person, paper sheet, walk-write-walk-write. Variance calculation done later in Excel.

02

Variance found mid-quarter

By the time the spreadsheet aligns to sales, 6 weekends have gone. €3k+ in pour cost.

03

Stock + sales never reconcile

Stock in one system, sales in another. Reconciliation lives in the GM’s head.

How it works

Three things make it 4x faster.

01

Phone first, not paper

Built for thumbs. Tap a count, swipe to next item, barcode-scan when faster. Works on any iOS / Android phone.

02

Parallel counters

3 people count different sections at the same time. Socket.IO syncs in real time; no overlap, no missed items.

03

Variance the minute it closes

Theoretical (from POS sales + recipes) vs actual count. Variance flagged on GM’s phone immediately.

Capabilities

Six things that matter on count day.

Barcode + freeform

Scan when stickered; tap-to-count when not. Recognise units (each, case, kg, ml).

Multi-location

Walk-in, dry store, bar, kitchen, back stage — each its own list. Aggregated for variance.

Offline-resilient

Basement cellars with no signal: count locally, sync when phone’s back online. No lost work.

Photo evidence

Attach photos of damages / partials. Auditable for finance + suppliers.

Variance & alerts

Theoretical vs actual; alerts on phone; thresholds configurable per category.

Closing stock value

Auto-valued at moving average cost. Feeds into your accounting period close.

Integrations

Plugs into the rest of Inntally.

Marketplace

Received goods land in inventory automatically.

Recipes

Sold-through depletion calculated; theoretical stock computed.

POS

Sales drive depletion. Variance = pour error + waste + shrink.

Accounting

Closing stock value posted to Xero, Sage, QuickBooks at period end.

Pricing

Included in every tier.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do we need a barcode scanner gun?
No. Phone camera scans well. Bluetooth scanners supported if you prefer.
How often should we count?
Bar & high-value: weekly. Dry store: monthly. Set the cadence per location.
What about non-barcoded items (open bottles)?
Visual partial estimator (¼, ½, ¾) for spirits + wine. Weight-based for kegs (with a scale).
Can we count without internet?
Yes. Local IndexedDB; sync when back online. No lost counts.
How accurate is the variance figure?
As accurate as your recipes + POS. Within 0.5% in our pilots. Recipe engine is the part that needs the most setup; we help.
